Hi, my name is Blake Welchert, and I’m a senior at Fort Calhoun High School. I was recently selected to play in the 2026 Nebraska Shrine Bowl, which is a huge honor and something I’m really grateful for.
The Shrine Bowl is more than just a football game. It helps raise money for Shriners Children’s, supporting kids and families who need medical care and services. Being chosen means representing not only my team and school, but also being part of something bigger than myself.
As a player, I’ve been asked to help raise funds for this cause. I’m reaching out to family, friends, and our community to ask for support. Any donation—big or small—goes toward helping kids and making a difference.
I’m proud to represent Fort Calhoun and thankful for the support from this community that has helped me get here.
Thank you for supporting me and the mission of the Shrine Bowl. It truly means a lot.
