I never imagined I would be writing something like this about my parents.

My mom, Brielle, is currently fighting stage 3 metastatic ovarian cancer. She has a long road ahead, including months of chemotherapy and another major surgery to debulk the cancer. Despite everything she’s facing, she continues to show up with strength and courage in a way that amazes all of us.

If you know my mom, you know the kind of person she is. She is the one who would give the shirt off her back without a second thought. She shows up for everyone—family, friends, even strangers—and never asks for anything in return. She spends so much of her time helping with her grandchildren, loving them endlessly, and being the heart of our family. Seeing her go through this is incredibly hard.

At the same time, my dad, Blake, is battling his own serious health crisis. He contracted Hepatitis A at work, and it has led to liver failure. Right now, he is waiting to see a specialist to determine what comes next. He should be focused on supporting my mom, but instead he is fighting for his own health too.

With both of my parents so sick, they have had to miss a significant amount of work. Their days are now filled with doctor’s appointments, hospital stays, treatments, and constant travel. The emotional toll is heavy, and the financial stress is quickly building on top of it.

We are asking for help in any way possible—whether that’s donating, sharing this page, or even helping with meals. Every act of kindness, big or small, truly makes a difference and helps take some of the weight off their shoulders so they can focus on healing.
