Hi friends, I'm raising funds on behalf of our boy, Blaise. On August 28th, Blaise was riding his bike, in the bike lane, to his house from Bayview Fitness on Kinnickinnic in the Bay View neighborhood of Milwaukee, when a car struck him, throwing him and his bike to the ground. The driver, who luckily has been identified and is awaiting trial, got out of the car to attempt to move Blaise out of the road. When Blaise screamed in pain, the man got back in his car and drove away. Luckily Blaise's friend Shaina happened to be driving by at that time and recognized Blaise laying in the road. She stayed with him until the ambulance came.

Fortunately, Blaise had no breaks and nothing happened to his head, he never lost consciousness. He did however injure his back, which put him out of work for multiple weeks.

Blaise is a huge asset to the community and has a heart of gold. He's always there to have a laugh and to help with anything in anyway he can. Blaise is currently taking classes towards a nursing degree in Oak Creek MATC. He currently uses Lyft to attend classes Monday through Thursday, costing him on average a week.

As a sever, barback, bartender his livelihood depends on physical labor which he has not been able to work for several weeks . He's already received $5600 in medical bills. I'm raising money to help Blaise pay for medical expenses and pay for daily living expenses while he's been out of work. Also, the night Blaise was struck, his headphones went missing so I would like to be able to purchase him a replacement pair.
