Help Blaise & Courtney Through an Unexpected Medical Journey

Just a few months after beginning their new life together, my son Blaise and his wife Courtney moved to Coeur d’Alene, Idaho with big hopes and dreams for their future. They were excited to start fresh as newlyweds and begin building their life together.

Blaise has been working hard in construction, and Courtney recently started working as a host at a local restaurant. Like many young couples starting out, they’ve been working hard to get established in a new place.

Unfortunately, they have just been hit with an unexpected medical challenge.

Courtney recently learned that she has a large fibroid mass measuring 13 cm attached to her uterus. Her doctor has explained that it will require major surgery to remove, followed by two days in the hospital and about six weeks of recovery at home, similar to a C-section recovery.

During that time, Courtney will not be able to work or lift anything heavy, and Blaise will be balancing work while caring for his recovering wife.

There is also a possibility that, depending on the location and blood supply of the fibroid, the surgery could become more complex. The doctors are hopeful they can remove the mass without further complications, but it is still a serious procedure.

As a young couple just starting their life together in a new city, this sudden medical situation brings financial strain and uncertainty.

We are asking for help to support Blaise and Courtney during this time. Donations will go toward:

• Medical bills
• Rent and living expenses during recovery
• Lost income while Courtney cannot work
• Basic needs as they navigate surgery and healing

Blaise and Courtney are strong, faithful, and hardworking. They were simply beginning their life together when this unexpected challenge appeared.

If you feel led to give, any amount helps and means more than you know. And if you can’t give financially, please share this page and keep them in your prayers.

Thank you for loving and supporting this young couple as they walk through this season and look forward to healthier days ahead.

With gratitude,
Candace (Blaise’s mom)
