Hi givers, I’m Blair! I am in need of immediate financial assistance for gastroenterologist visits, specialty doctors' appointments, physical therapy and chiropractic sessions, talk therapy, and psychiatric care after aging out of my former foster child Medicaid coverage as a disabled adult victim of child abuse! These sessions can run from $70-100 individually, and with my Medicaid coverage before I left town, I was having 6-10 appointments a week for the amount of care that I need. So please keep that in mind while donating. I’m happy to say we have secured outstanding, truly dream housing for as long as needed, so that’s one goal down, one more to go! Any help with furniture, moving costs, and living essentials would be greatly appreciated as well! As of September, my Medicaid full coverage insurance I had as a former foster child has been taken away due to me turning 22, and I’m currently only covered for “family planning” visits. These aren’t very useful to me as I have no plans on starting a family at only 23, and these do not cover the appointments I need for my specific issues! I am disabled and have been trying for the last four years to get my chronic illness diagnosed so I can return to school and finish my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design and continue the career I had teaching Performing Arts! I still, of course, need immediate assistance for physical therapy sessions, chiropractic appointments, therapy and psychiatric care, and all doctors' appointments until I’m able to secure the full coverage and access benefits that I deserve!

Once I’m able to gather enough donations for my medical expenses, I’ll return to my day-to-day life jam-packed with back-to-back appointments every weekday to gather the evidence Medicaid feels I need to be ‘disabled’ and non-stop meetings. But we will finally be back on track in finally getting the answers we need for treatment and to close this dark chapter of my life! Unfortunately, those who are directly responsible according to law have “paid” for their crimes with the years in prison they served, but unfortunately, the child that was left forever changed and affected by their actions can spend their entire adult life in struggle and poverty due to lifelong injury and trauma, seeing no financial benefit or support while these criminals walk free and continue their able-bodied lives as of 2025.
