My name is Kat, and I am Blair's planetarium "sister." I recently followed a series of social media breadcrumbs to find out if she, her husband Jason, and their twin "dome" babies were ok. In this search, I found out a bit about her situation and I also connected to Blair's mom.

They are safe. I will start there.

But, they are trapped.

Immediately, there is little we can all do from afar as roads are treacherous if they are there at all. I do have her location pinned down and in true Blair fashion, Firefly Hill has become a meeting point for nearly 100 families in her immediate community. I am doing what I can to report this to organizations and helicopter volunteers making supply drops in the area.

In the long term, they have sustained great personal loss in the form of a tiny home they built themselves and had become a home for her brother-in-law after a major accident some time back. They have also lost expensive equipment Jason needs to make a living. Countless other personal things. This Go-Fund-Me is woefully inadequate in easing both the financial toll and emotional toll of having your life wash away in front of your eyes.

But it is a start.

Blair's mom asked if I would help her get this fundraiser started to which I did not hesitate. I know Blair would be on my door step with food, love, and telling everyone she could if I needed help. That goes for all of her dome sisters.
