Help Blaine Stay Housed After Sudden Roommate Departure

Hi everyone,

My name is Blaine, and I’m reaching out for help after an unexpected situation that has left me struggling to cover my housing costs.

Six days into this month, my roommate abruptly moved out without paying their share of rent or utilities. They also left the room in terrible condition and broke my sliding door before leaving. Because this happened so suddenly, I didn’t have time to prepare financially or line up a replacement roommate.

Right now, my current income isn’t enough to cover the full rent and bills on my own. I’m actively working to stabilize things, looking for a new roommate and exploring smaller apartments that would be more affordable for me. But in the immediate moment, I’m trying to bridge the gap so I can keep my housing while I get things sorted out.

I’m starting this GoFundMe to help cover rent, utilities, and the repair for the damaged sliding door while I find a more sustainable living situation.
