Hi, my name is Kylie Outcalt, and I’m fundraising for my best friend, Blade. Blade is a 2-year-old Husky Aussie mix. He has been my partner and friend since the day I took him home. I work as a dog trainer, and Blade has been working with me to help other pups improve their quality of life through training. He has been my loyal companion and always such a kind, gentle, and playful pup. He never fails to bring a smile to the faces of anyone he meets. He loves making friends, getting lots of attention, and playing with his brother, Cyrus.

Recently, Blade was diagnosed with osteosarcoma, a type of bone cancer in his front left leg. The only option to stop the pain and give him a chance to live is to amputate his leg. While this is really scary, I have faith that Blade can adapt, heal, and live a full, loving life.

The surgery and follow-up treatments are costly, totaling around $2,250. This includes the amputation procedure, medications, recovery care, and future vet visits to keep Blade comfortable and safe throughout the healing process.

I want to give Blade the chance he deserves to live a long, rich life—to keep wagging his tail, making friends, and sharing his goofy energy with everyone he meets.
