Hello, my name is Carl Simpson, and I am originally from Jamaica, now living in the United Kingdom. I have close family friends in Black River, St. Elizabeth, who have been directly affected by the recent devastating hurricane that struck the island.

Black River’s coastal area has been hit hard. Many homes near the sea have been severely damaged or completely destroyed. One of my close family friends lived in one of these homes, which is now unlivable due to flooding and structural damage.

The destruction has left families without shelter, clothing, or basic supplies. Many have lost everything and are struggling to rebuild their lives.

This fundraiser has been created to provide emergency relief and rebuilding support for families in Black River and the surrounding communities.

Funds raised will go directly towards:

Relocation and temporary accommodation for displaced families

Essential household supplies such as clothing, bedding, and toiletries

Food and clean water for those experiencing shortages

Repairs and rebuilding assistance where homes can be restored

Shipping and logistics costs to send supplies and barrels directly to those in need

I will personally oversee how the funds are distributed and ensure they reach the families most affected. Regular updates will be shared to keep all supporters informed of the progress being made.

Even the smallest contribution will make a meaningful difference. Together, we can help families in Black River recover and rebuild with dignity and hope.
