Due to the sudden closing of the North Carolina Birth Center, our wonderful midwives (Cat & Kate) and staff (Mariam) will be continuing to provide prenatal and birth support for their families who are due in June; however, they will not be asking families to continue paying and they are not receiving any salaries from the parent company.

Please consider contributing to help pay the midwives and staff for their amazing and continued support of birthing families and also to help cover the cost of supplies, Internet and utilities which they are currently paying for on their own.

This birth center has been an important part of this community and the staff was doing an incredible job of creating a new safe space for birth in Chapel Hill. Please help support them and reach out to me, Andrea Fowler, directly with any questions or assistance to offer as they as search for new jobs even though the actual birth center was thriving.
