Binx came to me in December of 2020 as a stray. He quickly stole my heart, and the love and trust he shows me blows me away every time. This cat is sweet, inquisitive, and full of personality.

Since June, he has been on an unending tail injury journey. I need help covering the costs.

On June 25th, he hurt his tail in a fluke accident. The end was completely degloved. They operated on him beginning of July, but just below the surgery site were some injuries that didn't become apparent until the following day. Those injuries would not heal despite having an amazing vet team working with me on solutions. Finally, he had a second surgery on November 7th. When they removed the stitches on November 19th, they discovered the tail was degloving again.

My vet sent me to a specialist. He had surgery on November 26th, the Tuesday before Thanksgiving. So far, he is doing great, but until the healing is complete, we just don't know. Having gone to a specialist, his prognosis is good.

All of these surgeries, appointments, and medications have cost me over $6,000. Right now, I just don't have a good way to absorb this cost. Many of you know I got divorced earlier this year. As a result of that, I'm dealing with a significant amount of debt on my own. I got things sorted, had a realistic 4-year plan, but this knocks all of that off track.

Every little bit will help me pay back Binx's vet bills, and continue caring for any future needs of his.

I set the goal at $4,000 because it's these last two surgeries that I wasn't prepared for that have really set me back.
