Hi everyone! This is Binx. Binx is 11 years old and I have had him since he was a 7 month old baby. He is my heart and I love him so deeply. Sadly, I have noticed that Binx is losing weight and muscle mass, rapidly. He has lost about 5 pounds in the matter of 2 months, which is not normal. He has become boney, with his spine and back leg bones becoming more and more visible. As cats get older, they have a stronger chance of getting illnesses, like kidney disease and hyperthyroidism. Because I am not living with my parents where is he at, I am not able to track his health 24/7. He is desperately in need of a senior blood test, which i was told is about $200 plus any extra exam fees. My parents sadly cannot afford this as they have battled with financial issues this year and I am a college student barely scratching by with my own bills. I cannot bear the thought of him being sick without me knowing what he is sick with and suffering in silence. He is a very sweet boy, very lovable and loves his treats.
