Support Binx's Fight Against Heart Disease

Hi everyone, my name is Morgan and I have two cats Penlope (1) and Binx (1.5), I’m currently raising funds for my little binxy cat. Yesterday we noticed she wasn’t acting her normal self come to realize her back left leg was completely numb and she was unable to use it. As we were taking her to the vet she began to pant and heavily breathe which was incredibly alarming. At the vet they did an X-ray to see if it was broken or sprained, it was neither. We were sent home with some anti inflammatory and pain meds for her to try as they were thinking it was just some swelling due to wrestling with Penelope. The night went on and we kept a close eye on her and noticed she was not getting better at all, now she wasn’t eating. Next morning we take her back to the emergency vet to do blood work and unfortunately they found that poor binx has heart disease and a blood clot which is what’s causing the numbness, decreased eating and sluggishness. Thankfully it was not Saddle Thrombus which is when the blood clot cuts off both access to the legs and 99% of the time results in euthanizing. We were sent home with some answers and a blood thinner and now we wait u til tomorrow morning to take her to a cardiologist for a full heart examination. Right now we’ve spent about $1500 from the past few days and will spend an extra $1000 tomorrow in order to get the more in depth heart testing done. We absolutely hate to ask for donations but right now we’ll take anything to keep Binx healthy and safe as she is our literal everything. Thank you.
