Bingham is excited to have been invited to the National Invention Convention in June! His invention, The R.A.A.P. Pad, won 1st place in its category in both the regional and state competitions, and we are excited for him to go to the national competition! It will be a great opportunity to share his ideas and meet with other inventors his age.
We could use a little help getting there as the total travel cost for our family will be significant. Any help will be immensely appreciated. Thank you in advance for helping Bingham and us!
The RAAP Pad is something Bingham thought of that could benefit areas of the world that are overpopulated. It is a floating pad, or artificial island, made from layers of recycled rubber, aluminum alloy and recycled plastics with a domed top. Its purpose would be to provide space for landfills and farms, etc. These necessary infrastructures could be moved out to the RAAP Pad onto the ocean or a lake to free up space on land for residential homes or schools and similar structures.
