Hello, This is Bindi. She is a 7 year-old Calico-tabby-torti DSH rescue kitty.

Over the last year and a half, she has mysteriously lost about half her body weight.

Over the last two months, we have been trying different foods, nutrition supplements, appetite stimulants, all of her tests are normal, but not getting anywhere until Monday, July 15th, 2024 (her 4 year Gotcha Day), we found a dry food she would eat. A lot. We thought we had made a turn for the better. We waited for a referral to the U of M Internal Medicine Specialists to process.

This morning, July 17th, things took a very dramatic turn for the worse.

She is zombie-like. Seems to have great difficulty moving and walking. Little to no vocalizing (highly unusual for her). Her tail hangs low and when she moves her head, her whole shoulders sway like she is on a boat.

We are now waiting in line at the U of M Emergency clinic.

Not counting today's visit, we currently owe about $1,000 in pursuing this. We have about $1,000 left on our CareCredit and we are currently down to just one income.

We know everyone is having a hard time right now, and certainly there are much more urgent and important causes out there, but any amount you can give, even a little, towards helping Bindi get better would be immensely appreciated.

We will use the funds to cover Bindi's food, medicine, and other medical expenses.
