Hi everyone, Bina Pradhan has been my closest friend since high school in India—we’re like sisters.

On May 28, 2025, Bina (41) was diagnosed with Mixed Phenotype Acute Leukemia (MPAL), a very rare and aggressive blood cancer. She left her 11-year-old son and her tiny 4-year-old daughter to fight for her life at Tata Memorial Hospital in Mumbai.

After months of intense chemotherapy, her doctors say the only real chance of survival is an Allogeneic Stem Cell Transplant. Her sibling is a perfect 100% match, and she’s ready—but the transplant costs 28–30 lakh rupees (around $33,000–$36,000) that her family cannot pay after months of treatment.

Bina’s biggest dream right now is to beat this cancer and go home to hug her babies again. She hasn’t held her little girl in six months.
