William Ruscitti, lovingly known as Billy, has already been through more than most do in a lifetime. Billy was diagnosed with Digeorge Syndrome and has faced serious feeding issues that make it impossible for him to keep anything down in his stomach. He recently underwent nissen fundoplication surgery and had a GJ tube placed, all in the hope of helping him finally get the nutrition his body needs. Billy has spent the majority of his life in the hospital, including now at Phoenix Children’s Hospital, as his loved ones and care team continue searching for answers that will help him eat, gain weight, and have as normal a life as possible.
Going forward, Billy will need 24/7 care, and the challenges ahead are overwhelming for those who love him. This fundraiser will help cover Billy’s medical bills, home care, and specialized equipment needed for his recovery and ongoing care. Through every hospital stay, surgery, and setback, Billy has remained such a strong and happy baby. The Ruscitti family is asking for support during this incredibly difficult time as Billy’s family works to give him the care, comfort, and stability he deserves.
