Support Billy Hunt During His Upcoming Brain Surgery

My name is Billy Hunt and I am Shop Lead at Sound Solutions of Winston-Salem. I learned I had a Chiari Malformation in my brain but no one ever followed up on it until recently when I started having neurological problems that were impacting my daily living. I saw a neurosurgeon who said the problems were related to pressure from the malformation. They will need to operate and take 2 pieces of my skull out to let the pressure off and then I should feel much better. Unfortunately, I do not have any benefits that are provided by my job, but Katie does have medical insurance provided through her job that we will be using for the surgery. The recovery time is about 3.5-4 weeks, so I will be unable to work during this time. We have a family of four and we depend on my income, as well as Katie's. We are asking for any help to get us through the surgery. We meet with the neurosurgeon again in 2 weeks so Katie can also ask questions and learn more. The doctor is stating I need to have the surgery sooner than later, so we are looking at scheduling ASAP. We really appreciate your support and kind words during this time.
