Billy Flowers is a devoted husband and father of two sons who has always worked hard to provide for his family. In October 2025, Billy’s life changed dramatically when he began experiencing serious health issues. He was diagnosed with kidney failure, which forced him to stop working. His wife, who has been by his side every step of the way, missed a significant amount of work to care for Billy and attend countless doctor appointments.


On December 23, 2025, Billy was hospitalized with both liver and kidney failure. Since then, he has remained in the hospital, fighting for his life. Today, February 12, Billy is undergoing a liver transplant—a complex surgery expected to last 6 to 8 hours. After surgery, he will need to stay in the hospital for at least two weeks, followed by several more weeks of 24-hour care at Doorways. During this time, his wife is no longer employed, and the family is struggling to keep up with basic expenses like rent, utilities, and the cost of traveling back and forth to Richmond, VA for treatment.


The financial burden has become overwhelming for Billy’s family as they try to focus on his recovery and care for their two sons.
