Support Bill's Journey to Recovery

Bill got sick in November of 2021, it began with losing his ability to walk. After a rehab hospital stay and physical therapy he learned to walk again and by the summer of 2022 he was free of mobility aides. His condition relapsed in November of 2022 and he has not been able to work since nor get off mobility aides. Earlier this year he also began to lose his vision, right now he is legally blind and gets by using his peripheral vision as he has lost his central vision in both eyes. Doctors so far have been unable to pinpoint what is causing all these issues.
Thankfully Mayo Clinic has taken interest in his case. We are fortunate Mayo is only about a 3 hour drive from us but this still will require travel expenses and hotel stays. At the moment based on the appointments established there will be at least 3 trips Bill needs to make. We are seeking help to cover these expenses and help keep us afloat. Bill applied for SSDI in March but it’s a long process and we are struggling to get by on just my income. We have been blessed with the help of friends and family over the course of all of this and just need a little more help to get through what is hopefully the last leg of this journey.
