On Sunday, May 18th Bill fell approximately 7 feet into our window well while taking down Christmas lights. He sustained several severe injuries. He has 6 broken ribs, broken scapular and a punctured lung resulting in a chest tube. With these injuries they are saying he may be unable to return to his job for up to 6 months. His job is very physical. He will not be able to bend, twist or lift for 6 to 12 months (hopefully it doesn't take this long). He does not have short-term disability insurance and his long-term disability doesn't kick in for 180 days. His job is what pays for a majority of our living expenses.

Bill will need a lot of physical support the first couple months as he rebuilds his strength. They have asked about home health support which we will use if insurance pays for it. If not, I will be his wife, nurse & caretaker. I will also need to work to support us.
