Support Bill’s fight against Cancer

In November 2017, just before Thanksgiving, my dad was diagnosed with Esophageal cancer. He has since started treatment including chemo and radiation. He is receiving radiation 5 days a week and chemo once a week. His initial treatment will last 6 weeks. After completing chemo and radiation he will require a major surgery to remove the effected area of his esophagus. He has to wait 3-4 weeks after chemo is completed to have the surgery. He will have a feeding tube placed for nutrition until he is healed enough to eat again. His surgeon predicts him to be out of work for 3-6 months AFTER the surgery. As some of you know, my dad also had a heart attack earlier this year and had a triple bypass. He was off work for 12 weeks to heal from open heart surgery. His heart surgeon will be performing this surgery as well. He told my dad, “heart surgery is a walk in the park compared to this surgery.” This has been a VERY hard year for my parents. My dad has used all of his paid time off and sick time for the year. This long time off work will be unpaid. I am asking for help on behalf of my parents. Money to help will bills, groceries, travel expenses, etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Anyone who knows my dad knows he would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. He will not ask for help, but I will. If you cannot financially help, I ask that you pray for my dad. He is the strongest person I know and I have no doubt he will beat this. I just hope to help ease the financial burdens for him in the meantime. The last thing I want him to worry about is money. Thank you all for reading. God Bless!
