Support Billie Jean's Fight Against Breast Cancer
Donation protected
Hello friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,
My name is Billie Jean, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart and hopeful spirit. I’ve been diagnosed with Stage 2 ductal carcinoma—a fast-moving form of breast cancer. My lumpectomy and lymph node removal is scheduled for Friday, July 25th, 2025, but the copay alone is $650, and the medical bills are quickly becoming overwhelming.
As much as I wish I didn’t have to ask, we are in a place where we need help.
My husband and I are the only providers in our home. We’re raising our beautiful 9-year-old grandson, who is nonverbal and on the autism spectrum, while also caring for my disabled stepfather, our 15-year-old daughter, and our adult son, who is still recovering from a near-death experience last year. My husband works tirelessly to support us and serve this country, but even with his hard work, we are stretched to the breaking point.
I’m doing everything I can—reaching out to agencies and charities—but funding is limited and waitlists are long. Cancer won’t wait. This disease is aggressive, and delaying treatment is not an option.
I’ve always tried to be the one helping others, not the one asking for help. But right now, we are barely staying afloat. My bank account is overdrawn. Hope is running low. But faith is keeping me going.
If you’re able to help in any way—whether through a donation or by sharing this page—it would mean the world to our family. Every dollar makes a difference. Every prayer is felt. Every gesture of kindness helps us keep going.
With deepest gratitude,
Billie Jean
