My old friend Bill Mccafferty was injured in a car accident. He was blind sided by another car. His car is totaled and he is in the hospital recovering with 10 broken ribs, dislocated hip and a level one spleen injury. Police have informed him he was not at fault. Recovery will likely last up to two months before he will be able to work again. Not being able to work is going to be very challenging for Bill to pay rent, phone bill and utilities, let alone buying food.
