Big O's Needs Help to Battle Cancer
Donation protected
Hi everyone, it’s me, your guy, “Big O”! I am struggling right now. I try to stay positive, but it isn’t easy. I was diagnosed with colorectal cancer in August of 2023. I did radiation and chemotherapy, but it wasn’t enough. I had to have surgery to remove the cancer, which wasn’t possible without me ending up with a colostomy bag for the rest of my life. So, I had the surgery and continued chemotherapy. During a CT scan to check how things were going, the cancer spread to my lungs. I had to have lung ablation surgery to burn the cancer from my lungs so it couldn’t grow anymore. They had to do each lung separately in case my lungs collapsed; I’d still have one working. And of course, with my luck, they each collapsed, and I had to stay in the hospital for a few days after each surgery. The week after the second surgery, I went to get a CT scan to see how things were going, and they noticed that the cancer had now spread to my liver. On 4/28/25, this coming Monday, I will have to restart chemotherapy again! Please continue to send love, prayers, best wishes, and any positivity you can. During this time, I’ve been unable to work due to the pain and extreme fatigue that I’ve been going through. The government has denied me for disability twice, and I am still fighting with them. If you know me, you know how hard it is for me to ask, but I need help! Anything you can help with, I am quite grateful for.
