My name is Brittany Schlabach I’m writing this on behalf of my Dad, Michael Schlabach, or as many know him Big Mike. Last month my dad got a CT scan done and it revealed a mass on his right lung. After getting his biopsy results back this week it confirmed that he has Small Cell Lung Cancer. While we are remaining hopeful this news is devastating to my family and anyone who knows my dad. He is the most amazing man, husband, brother, friend, dad and grandfather to his 8 grandchildren, nothing makes my dad happier than his family. Michael will be starting chemotherapy and radiation in a few short weeks, the prognosis for this type of cancer isn’t great so we need to start treatment as soon as possible. With that being said my dad will be having to take much time off of work, and being the sole finical provider for my family this has been a great stress. My dad is still working 6 days a week as a maintenance man, good or bad days he still

shows up. I want my parents to be able to focus on my dad and his healing during this difficult time any amount that can be given to go towards my parents expenses and medical care is greatly appreciated. God bless.
