ETHOS Film Awards 2026 Winner — Best Short Script

“Big Kids” is a 13-minute 2D animated short film about two siblings who successfully drive their family car to a fast-food restaurant… after learning how from a cartoon.

What starts as a clever solution to a simple problem quickly becomes a dangerous situation—because while they learned how to drive… no one taught them the consequences.

This film explores a real modern issue: how kids today can gain adult-level skills through digital media, without understanding the real-world responsibility behind them.
