Support Big Dave

So now what? What to do? Has anyone ever come into your life and instantly treated you like family? Then you must know Big Dave. As most of you know Dave is a dear friend of mine. He's like a brother from another for so many. Dave is always willing to lend a hand or an ear. He loves to joke, and on occasion, he's been known to tell a few (some good, some bad, most dad). His big heart has welcomed so many. Some may wonder where he has been lately... well he developed a bum foot that needed some surgery. Healing was going ok but then took a turn as his heel wasn't healing as it should. So another surgery was had to debride and help with reducing the infection in his foot. During that surgery, they discovered that his heart was only operating at 10%...hard to believe! So he recently had open heart surgery, which went well and he is recovering. But it doesn't stop there. He will be having surgery to amputate that bum foot. As he recovers he has a lot of work, therapy and headaches ahead of him. Will keep you updated as we know more. Dave is humble and proud. Although priceless to keep him going, the bills are adding up, and I am hoping others are willing to lend a hand to the guy who has tried to lift you up, had your back, lent an ear, or just bought you a beer. Please consider giving what you can. Funds will be used to help with medical bills. Believe it or not, he has been itching to come back to work, and his world has come crashing down.
