Please Help Our Sister Bicbic Get a Life-Saving Heart Valve Replacement Surgery

Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers,
We, the Amarillo siblings, are reaching out with a heavy heart and a plea for help for our beloved sister, Bicbic, who is in urgent need of a heart valve replacement. This surgery is her last hope after battling severe heart issues for many years.

Her Story:
Bicbic is 57 years old and has dedicated her life to helping others through her work as a professor and clinical researcher in biostatistics. But her contributions go far beyond academia. She has been an active member of her church, involved in various feeding programs to support the less fortunate, and even hosts a show focused on health, spreading vital knowledge to improve the well-being of others.
In 2014, she underwent her first balloon valvuloplasty, a procedure that was repeated in January 2017 and December 2017. Despite these efforts, her condition continued to deteriorate. In January 2019, she suffered a stroke, and in May 2021, she had a severe fall, resulting in a hip fracture that required surgery.
Through all of this, Bicbic has shown incredible strength and resilience, continuing to serve her community and inspire those around her. However, the financial burden of her medical treatments has depleted most of her life savings. Now, as she faces the prospect of a heart valve replacement—her last resort—we are struggling to cover the costs.

Why We Need Your Help:
The heart valve replacement surgery and subsequent aftercare are estimated to cost around 1 million Philippine pesos. This amount is overwhelming for us, especially after the many medical expenses Bicbic has already incurred.
We are turning to you, our community, in the hope that you can help give our sister the chance to continue her life’s work and passion. Any amount you can contribute will go directly towards the cost of the surgery and her recovery.

How You Can Help:
1. Donate - Any amount, big or small, will make a difference and bring us closer to our goal.
2. Share - Please share this campaign with your network to help us reach more people who might be able to assist.
3. Help us pray for success and continued recovery.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for taking the time to read our story and for any support you can provide. With your help, we hope to see Bicbic back on her feet, continuing to inspire, serve, and educate others as she always has.

With deepest gratitude,
The Amarillo Siblings
