Help Us Get Justice and Cover Emergency Vet Costs for Bibi and Polo

Recently, both of my beloved pets, Bibi and Polo, went in for a routine dental cleaning and check-up at Banfield Hospital in Mountain View. It was Polo’s first time, and Bibi’s third. When I picked them up, they both seemed fine.

However, shortly after we got home, Polo began breathing abnormally he was wheezing and struggling to breathe. On our way back to the hospital, his tongue started turning purple and blue. When we arrived, the vets had to intubate him immediately to stabilize him.

Later that night, Bibi who had appeared fine began showing signs of distress. I initially thought it was just the anesthesia wearing off. But my concern grew, so I rushed her to the emergency vet. On the way there, she had a seizure. When we arrived, she had another one. Her blood pressure and body temperature were dropping rapidly. Despite their efforts, Bibi fell into a coma, and I had to make the heartbreaking decision to let her go peacefully.

This all happened so suddenly. Neither Bibi nor Polo had any prior health issues. I truly believe something went terribly wrong during their visit to Banfield, and both my pets were affected.

Bibi’s unexpected passing has shattered my heart. She and Polo are my world, and losing her this way has left me emotionally devastated and financially overwhelmed especially as I’m currently completing my master’s degree and paying for it on my own.

If you’re able to contribute toward Bibi’s funeral costs and the emergency vet visits for both her and Polo, it would mean the world to me. Any amount helps, and I truly appreciate your support during this incredibly difficult time.

Recientemente, mis dos queridas mascotas, Bibi y Polo, acudieron a una limpieza dental y revisión de rutina en el Hospital Banfield de Mountain View. Era la primera vez de Polo y la tercera de Bibi. Cuando los recogí, ambos parecían estar bien.

Sin embargo, poco después de llegar a casa, Polo empezó a respirar de forma anormal: tenía sibilancias y le costaba respirar. De regreso al hospital, su lengua se puso morada y azul. Al llegar, los veterinarios tuvieron que intubarlo inmediatamente para estabilizarlo.

Más tarde esa noche, Bibi, que parecía estar bien, empezó a mostrar signos de angustia. Al principio pensé que se le estaba pasando el efecto de la anestesia. Pero mi preocupación aumentó, así que la llevé de urgencia a la veterinaria. De camino, sufrió una convulsión. Al llegar, tuvo otra. Su presión arterial y temperatura corporal bajaban rápidamente. A pesar de sus esfuerzos, Bibi entró en coma y tuve que tomar la desgarradora decisión de dejarla ir en paz.

Todo esto sucedió de repente. Ni Bibi ni Polo tenían problemas de salud previos. Creo sinceramente que algo salió terriblemente mal durante su visita a Banfield, y mis dos mascotas se vieron afectadas.

La inesperada muerte de Bibi me ha destrozado el corazón. Ella y Polo son mi mundo, y perderla de esta manera me ha dejado emocionalmente devastada y económicamente abrumada, especialmente porque actualmente estoy terminando mi maestría y pagándola por mi cuenta.

Si pueden contribuir con los gastos del funeral de Bibi y las visitas veterinarias de emergencia tanto para ella como para Polo, significaría muchísimo para mí. Cualquier cantidad ayuda, y agradezco mucho su apoyo en este momento tan difícil.
