Hi everyone!
My name is Bianca Dootson, and I’ve been given an incredible opportunity to surf for Germany in the 2025 ISA World Longboard Championships in El Salvador! My goal is to perform well at this contest in hopes of qualifying for the LA 2028 Olympics—if longboarding is included.
I earned my spot on the German team by winning my second national title at the DM in Munich this past October. I previously had the honor of competing in the ISA World Championships in 2019 and 2023, and I’m beyond grateful for the chance to represent Germany again on the world stage.
However, I must fund my journey to El Salvador on my own. While I work full-time to support myself, I’m reaching out to my friends, family, and community for a little extra help to make this trip possible. Any support—whether financial, a good-luck wish, or simply sharing my story—means the world to me!
I’m proud to represent not just Germany but also my family, my Santa Cruz community, and my Chartwell School community. The event will take place from April 25 – May 1, 2025, and I can’t wait to compete.

I’ve also included photos from my past World Championship experiences in 2019 and 2023. One of them is from the 2019 Parade of Nations, where I had the honor of participating in the Sands of the World ceremony. In this tradition, one member from each national team pours sand from their home beach into a single container, symbolizing the peaceful gathering of nations through surfing.
Thank you all for your support—every bit helps, and I’m so grateful for this journey! ♀️
