Hello, my name is Bianca Hernandez. I am a single mother of three wonderful daughters: Athena, who is 16 and bravely living with epilepsy; Anastazia, my 12-year-old who is the glue holding us together; and Ariel, my energetic 6-year-old who was diagnosed with Williams Syndrome and autism in 2021. When Ariel was diagnosed, her father and I decided I would stay home to care for her and ensure she received the best resources possible.

In 2023, after separating from their father, my daughters and I moved in with my parents. I was recently hired for a work-from-home job. At this point I thought it best for myself and my daughters to move out. Prior to moving I ended up in the hospital for a few days but while I was in the hospital, my laptop was stolen. I have a backup laptop that had issues, but I tried my best to keep working once released. Eventually, the technical problems led to me losing my job. At this point I was already moved into my apartment. But my savings was depleted.

Since then, I have struggled to keep up with bills and provide for my daughters. The stress has been overwhelming, leading to daily panic attacks, and my oldest daughter has started having more seizures from the stress. I am at my last resort and reaching out for help. I just need a bit of support to get us through January until I begin my new job as my youngest daughter's caregiver. Any help you can give would mean the world to us.
