Support Bharat Modi's Fight Against Pancreatic Cancer!

FYI: Bharat Modi has appointed Ajay Karavadra to manage the account on his behalf.

What do you do when the person who has always been the rock for his family and friends, the one everyone turns to for strength and support, finds themselves in a battle they can’t fight alone?

What Happened:

Bharat Modi was recently diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. In September 2024, Bharat was tested following prolonged abdominal pain, weight loss and weakness and sent home with an over-the-counter prescription. When he didn’t improve after a few days, he sought more extensive testing; what began as routine turned into a heartbreaking diagnosis of stage 4 pancreatic cancer, which has metastasized making him very weak.

After a rapid decline in strength, Bharat was admitted to a private hospital, Wellington Hospital, in St. John’s Wood, London. He required 24/7 specialized care to quickly stabilize him and then prepare for treatment. A few days later he had surgery to implant a chemo port; a few days after recovering, another surgery to stent his bile duct as the cancer had caused it to collapse. He is now undergoing chemotherapy, along with various other medications and modalities. Even the smallest exertion leaves him breathless and fatigued.

Who Bharat Is:

Anyone who knows Bharat knows how kind, generous and caring he is. I have known him, along with many other friends, since Sheffield University ... the life of the party and a bright-eyed, quick-witted, exuberant guy with a zest for life. Bharat worked for a number of law firms, but especially enjoyed his time at RJW/Slater & Gordon Lawyers, where he made many deep and long-lasting friendships. He thoroughly enjoyed the humorous banter he shared with the friends he made there. Today, he is surrounded by his family and friends during this incredibly hard time...we are all praying for him.

How You Can Help:

The money raised will go towards Bharat's exponentially rising medical expenses, and to help him cover the costs of a private nursing home for 24/7 specialized care and support. Due to the aggressiveness of stage 4 pancreatic cancer, Bharat requires advanced and specialized care, however private care is expensive and his insurance covers only 60% of the bill whilst at the Wellington Hospital.

Financial support isn’t all that’s needed for healing. We ask that you support this family by keeping them in your prayers. Thank you for considering supporting Bharat and the Modi family on this difficult journey. Your kindness means the world to us all.

So what do you do when the person who has always been your rock, the one everyone turns to for strength, finds themselves in a battle they can’t fight alone?

Thank you in advance!
