Help Bex Find Safe, Stable Housing This Holiday Season
This holiday season, our friend Bex is facing the unimaginable. After bravely leaving an abusive relationship, she is now at risk of becoming houseless. As she works to rebuild her life, she urgently needs support to secure safe, stable housing for herself and her two emotional-support animals who provide her daily comfort and grounding.
Who Bex Is
If you know Bex, you know she is a light in her community. She is a community builder, a constant source of optimism, and someone who shows up for others even when she herself is struggling. She works for a nonprofit serving children, dedicating each day to creating safety, joy, and opportunity for young people who need it most. Her heart for service is enormous — and now she needs her community to show up for her.
Why We’re Raising Funds
After escaping an abusive environment, Bex is doing everything she can to rebuild her stability. But with the rising cost of housing and the emotional and logistical hurdles of starting over, she is facing an urgent gap. Without support, she risks losing not only her housing but also her beloved ESAs, who are essential to her healing and well-being.
Your contribution will help Bex:
- Secure safe housing for herself and her two emotional-support animals
- Cover move-in costs such as deposits, pet fees, and initial rent
- Purchase essentials needed to set up a stable home
- Maintain stability during this difficult transition
Why It Matters
No one should face homelessness — especially not while recovering from abuse and continuing to serve her community. Bex has poured so much love, energy, and compassion into others. Now, we have the opportunity to help her land on her feet and feel safe again.
