Help Betty's Journey From Ashes to Hope
Donation protected
Dear Family, Friends, and Kindhearted Souls,
Born and raised in Altadena, I am a proud mom to three wonderful children, a grandmother to six beautiful grandchildren, and currently serve as a flight attendant. On January 8, my life was turned upside down when the Eaton Canyon Fire destroyed my home. In a single night, everything I worked so hard to build—my safe haven, belongings, and cherished memories—was reduced to ashes.
What’s most heartbreaking are the losses that can’t be replaced: the photos, keepsakes, and mementos that carried the stories, laughter, and love of my children and grandchildren. While the material things are gone, I hold tightly to the memories in my heart and to the belief that brighter days are ahead.
Right now, I’m asking for your help as I work to rebuild my life. My immediate needs to replace what I've lost, unexpected costs that might not be fully covered by other sources of aid
I’ve created this GoFundMe to help meet these urgent needs and create a foundation for a fresh start. Every donation, no matter the size, is a step toward stability and hope. If you’re unable to give, sharing my story with others would mean so much to me. Your generosity and love will not only help me rebuild but also remind me that even in loss, I’m surrounded by care and compassion.
With gratitude and a hopeful heart,
Betty
