Hello everyone,

I appreciate you taking time to come here and read about my sweet nanny, Betty. These last couple of years have been rough on her. In 2023 she lost her son AND her husband suddenly just months apart. In 2024 her Georgia home and town were hit hard by Hurricane Helene, she was without power for weeks. This year, her spirit and wellness have not been the same. She has been in and out of the doctors office and just recently has been diagnosed with Stage III lung cancer, which means it is in her lymph nodes.

She starts chemo and radiation in a couple of weeks and we are optimistic about the outcome! But with recent funeral costs and home repairs, her funds are a little depleted.

I'll never be able to put in to words what she means to me and everyone else who loves her. She's never met a stranger and will give anyone the shirt off of her back. I am hoping loved ones and strangers will give a little back to her.
