I'm starting a GoFundMe to help my parents, Betty and Chris. My parents are very hardworking people, and even in their 70s, they still work every day, not being able to financially retire. My parents deliver DoorDash and GrubHub to supplement their income and pay their bills, and they deliver orders 7 days a week.

Six weeks ago, my mom went to the ER with terrible abdominal pain and was diagnosed with diverticulitis with a perforated colon. Betty had to go into the hospital at St. Francis for surgery to repair the colon, and they placed a temporary ostomy bag. My mom will require another surgery to remove the ostomy bag as well. My parents have been out of work and unable to deliver for the last 6 weeks, and although they fully intend to go back to work once Betty recovers, they are getting behind on monthly bills. This is just to help with those monthly bills for the time being that she is in the hospital.

Anyone who knows Betty and Chris knows that they are very hardworking people with big hearts and have always helped others when they could. Anything you could contribute would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
