Support Bettina's Urgent Cancer Treatment

Dear friends of Bettina,

Our dear one just found out she has cancer. The situation is seriously urgent. She’s in Germany, where she went to visit her dad. Sadly, he died B4 she arrived. Bettina was going to stay with her mom this Summer but collapsed & was taken to the hospital. I was only able to speak to Bettina briefly but she said they told her she has cancer, they’re not sure about what kind but had determined that it had spread already.

They advised her to return home to New Orleans immediately & seek treatment. She arrives back home on Friday, May 9th & will be taken straight to Ochsner Hospital. They have an MD Anderson Cancer Center & that is where we want her to be treated, immediately. Miguel, Bettina’s husband, asked me to create this fundraiser, to help cover some of the costs of her medical expenses. She has insurance but it is certain they will not cover the tests & treatment 100%. In addition, of course she won’t be able to work.

We’re reaching out to all of you - Bettina is greatly loved by so many friends - and asking for your support during Bettina’s greatest time of need. This will also be helpful to her family: her husband Miguel, her son Kai & her daughter Analia. We all love Bettina very much & want to help see her through this health crisis & emerge in good health. Thank you so much for your loving kindness.
