Support Betsy's Recovery After Horse Accident

Donation protected
On Halloween, my mother-in-law, Betsy, was riding her horse outside of her home in rural Utah, when a semi-truck went speeding by. The horse got spooked, resulting in Betsy being bucked off and stepped on multiple times.

Thankfully, she didn't sustain any brain damage, and she didn't break any bones; however, she did get 5 of her spinous processes fractured (the spinous process is the bony projection coming out of your back to which your muscles and tendons attach).

While she won't have any long-term damage from them and won't require surgery, she will be out of work while she recovers since she has to be fairly immobile. The doctor hasn't given a recovery timeframe yet for recovery, but these injuries generally take 2-4 months at her age.

Betsy (56) is a housecleaner and is a major contributor the family.

We are aiming to help them cover 3 months' worth of living expenses and possibly some of the medical bills from all the tests that were run. This would allow them to subsist until she can get back to work.

Anything that you can donate will be of great assistance to them and will be much appreciated.
