Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted supporters,

I’m reaching out on behalf of my dear friend Betzaida "Betsy" Gonzalez, who has recently been diagnosed with stage 3 cancer (squamous cell carcinoma). This has been a devastating and overwhelming time for her, as she prepares to undergo a major surgery scheduled this June 2nd. The road ahead includes not only the operation but a long recovery process and possibly further treatments.

Betsy is one of the strongest, kindest, and most resilient people I know. But even the strongest among us need help sometimes. As she focuses on healing, she will be unable to keeping up with food, bills and basic living expenses is adding to an already heavy emotional and physical burden.

That’s why I’ve started this GoFundMe to help relieve some of the financial pressure so she can concentrate fully on her recovery. Every dollar raised will go directly to covering her monthly bills, transportation to medical appointments, and any unexpected costs during this critical time.
