My name is Shelly Gammon, and I’ve had the privilege of knowing Betsy (Fielding) Daigle since 1979. Betsy and her family have been a profound and positive influence in my life — their friendship, selfless giving, and thoughtful kindness have blessed me and so many others in our community over the years.
Betsy was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and has undergone a double mastectomy this week. This is a difficult and uncertain time for her and her family, and they need our support more than ever.
Betsy is not only a devoted wife and mother — she’s also the heart and soul behind Small Steps School of Dance, a small family-run business she founded in 2000. Through her school, Betsy has taught and inspired hundreds of local children, nurturing their creativity, confidence, and love of dance. Her impact on our community is immeasurable.
While Betsy focuses on healing, her family faces the dual challenge of covering medical expenses and sustaining their business during her recovery.
We’re launching this GoFundMe to help the Daigle family:
• Offset medical and recovery costs
• Cover lost revenue from Small Steps School of Dance
• Ensure Betsy can focus on healing without the added stress of financial hardship
If you feel moved to support Betsy and her family, your donation — no matter the amount — will make a meaningful difference. And if you’re unable to give, please consider sharing this campaign with others who may be able to help.
Thank you for your kindness, your prayers, and your generosity.
With love and gratitude,
Shelly Gammon
