Support for Betsy Bingham-Johns' Cancer Journey

Our beloved friend, colleague, and mentor, Betsy Bingham-John, was recently diagnosed with stage four cancer. As many of you know, Betsy has devoted nearly two decades to the Colorado Rocky Mountain School community as the College Counselor — guiding students with wisdom, warmth, and unwavering care.

Betsy has touched hundreds of lives with her deep compassion, fierce advocacy, and quiet strength. Whether she was helping a student discover their path, supporting a colleague, or simply listening with her signature grace, Betsy has been a pillar of support and inspiration to all who know her.

Now, it’s our turn to support her.

Betsy began her cancer battle in mid-March, and while her diagnosis is serious, her spirit remains strong. We are rallying together to ease the burden of medical costs, travel, and time away from work so Betsy can focus on healing — with the hope that she’ll return to the place she loves and the students who love her back.
