Support Beth's Recovery from Brain Cancer

Dear friends and family,
I hope this update finds you well - and that those of you who celebrated Mother’s Day had a beautiful weekend!
As many of you may know, in early January I was hospitalized to remove a tumor in my brain. I was diagnosed with a form of cancer called medulloblastoma, which affects the brain and the nervous system. It has been a challenging and long road to recovery, and we are not out of the woods yet. In February and March, I underwent 5 weeks of radiation treatment, 5 days a week at New York Proton Center in East Harlem. The treatment has taken a huge toll on my body, and I am in the process of recovering.
Building my strength back is taking a bit longer than the doctors thought, so they’ve decided to have me wait another month before starting the second leg of my treatment journey with chemotherapy. While we are battling this next stage, we have started a new fundraising effort to help support our family through this difficult time.
Many of you donated to our first fundraiser, for which we continue to be so grateful. If you are able to contribute again, thank you so much, and if you feel comfortable sharing the fundraiser, that is very helpful as well! Anything helps and is so appreciated as we continue to navigate this process. If you’re reading this, I love you and thank you for your support!!
