Hi everyone,
My name is Kristen, and I’m creating this fundraiser for my sister, Beth, who is going through an incredibly difficult and painful journey.
Over the past several years, my sister has endured five knee surgeries after a doctor accidentally cut her quad tendon during a procedure. What should have been a routine surgery turned into a long, exhausting battle filled with complications, setbacks, and constant pain.
As if that wasn’t enough, just one month before her spinal fusion surgery, she had to undergo emergency gallbladder surgery. Before she even had time to fully recover, she was faced with yet another major operation.
Just four weeks ago, she underwent spinal fusion surgery and is now facing a long and challenging recovery that will take at least six months. During this time, she is unable to work and needs significant support just to get through daily life.
In addition to everything she has already endured, she has also been diagnosed with severe osteoarthritis in both thumb bases and will need surgery in the future to address the pain and loss of function. This means her medical journey is far from over.
Beth has applied for disability and has been denied twice, she is awaiting her final hearing at the end of June and is hoping that she can finally get the financial help that she needs.
Watching someone you love go through this is heartbreaking. She has shown so much strength and resilience, but the physical, emotional, and financial toll has become overwhelming.
We are asking for help to cover:
* Ongoing medical bills and follow-up care
* Physical therapy and rehabilitation
* Everyday living expenses during her recovery
* Transportation to and from medical appointments
* Future surgical expenses
My sister is one of the strongest people I know, and she doesn’t ask for help easily—but right now, she truly needs it.
Any donation, no matter the size, will make a difference. If you’re unable to give, sharing this page would mean the world to our family.
Thank you for your kindness, support, and for helping my sister on her road to recovery.
With love and gratitude,
Kristen
