My name is Beth but those who are closest to me call me Buffy, I am reaching out during one of the most challenging times in my life. I have recently been diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer and will be undergoing a double mastectomy, with an incision stretching from under arm to under arm. As the sole provider for my family, the uncertainty of my recovery and the time I’ll need away from work has left us facing financial hardship and emotional stress.
The funds raised through this campaign will go directly toward household expenses and the many trips to the doctor that my treatment requires. With my ability to work on hold, every bit of support will help keep our home running and ensure I can focus on healing and being there for my loved ones. Your generosity will make a real difference in our daily lives, helping us cover bills, transportation, and the essentials we need to get through this journey.
I am deeply grateful for any help you can offer. Your kindness and support will give me and my family hope and strength as we face this challenge together. Thank you for standing with us and for believing in our ability to overcome.
Update: I recently had a double mastectomy and exactly a week later when I got home from a post op follow up I had to make a trip to the emergency room for what I thought was just a cramp, I was so embarrassed but the pain became too unbearable. Thankfully I made that trip because I was diagnosed with a blood clot in my leg. Thinking I was finally on the mend I had to make another trip the following week and immediately they thought I had a blood clot in my lungs which turned out to be pneumonia. We have finally got the blood clot controlled with medication and no more pneumonia but unfortunately the pain remains so there are many more doctor visits in my future until we can get it all under control. Thank you all so much for taking the time to read my story. You're love, prayers, and donations are appreciated more than you know!
