Hi all, this is Beth Loomis.

She and our family have had a crazy 2025. My name is Corrin (mom) and our family is being and has been hit really hard during the last 9 months. We have not in the past been ones to ask for help, but it's been a humbling year.

Beth is a 5-year-old ball of light, energy, and power. This is her 4th hospitalization and will be 5 brain procedures by next week. Her brother and she both received Chiari Malformation surgeries this year for severe cases. Beth had a surprising 24mm growth of her brain into her spinal cord. Her brother's surgery was extremely successful. Hers was not.

The end of March, her decompression was successful for about 7 days when she started getting a closed CSF leak (a pseudomeningocele). She had a revision to close her leaking dura in June. Well, it also failed.

So fast forward to December, she fell twice and hit her head hard twice on the spot where the fluid build is.

We had a failed/wasted ED visit after the first, but came out to East Tennessee Children's Hospital. She is getting a shunt due to excess CSF fluid, then having her 3rd major brain surgery of the last 9 months.

Pray they can help her.
