Hello! I imagine you've found yourself here because you know Beth or someone in our family, and we want to start by saying thank you! Our mom, Beth, has been on a healing journey since 2021, when she was first diagnosed with breast cancer. Since then, she's experienced the joys of being NED (no evidence of disease) and the challenges of having the breast cancer reoccur. In these years, she has worked two jobs and focused so much energy on her health and wellness. Most people had no idea "the situation" (cancer, not Jersey Shore guy) had returned.

Last October, she needed a surgery to stabilize her femur (where the breast cancer had metastasized) and rocked her PT and recovery. In the months to follow, that pesky "situation" moved into her liver and has required a whole new approach to treatment - one that makes it impossible to stand on your feet doing hair or working her (beloved) store job. Without income, the financial burdens of "getting well" have slowly become more than even our best team effort. Our mom really wanted to do a "fun" fundraiser - picture live music and dancing and food and laughter - and while we remain optimistic that she can host you all at that kind of soirée this Summer, her immediate situation requires rest. So, we've agreed to respect her ask of us and set up this GoFundMe, in the hopes that small donations can add up in the near term and help offset the cost of housing, health and holistic care, and groceries.
