June 2025 Update:
Dear Friends,
Unfortunately, Beth’s situation has continued to deteriorate. After major surgery and radiation treatment, the cancer has reoccurred and metastasized. She did further radiation on her pelvis and is currently scheduled for surgery for lymph nodes in her neck. She has not been able to work. She needs our financial support for her daily living expenses, as well as some medical bills. This is a huge stress that we can help alleviate, with many hands making the burden light. Her family has passed away, so she also needs local friends to help support her on her “care team,” if you feel this speaks to you. Beth has taken care of so many people in the past, and now it’s our turn to reach out with acts of love and compassion. Anything we can do to help in terms of donating money, or providing mental and emotional encouragement, is greatly appreciated. Please feel free to forward this to everyone you know who you think might be able to contribute. Let’s show Beth she is not alone on her journey, and that she is loved.

Original Request:
Dear Friends,
In Oct 2021 Beth was diagnosed with Olfactory Neuroblastoma - a fast-growing, aggressive, malignant tumor in the sinus area encroaching on her brain. It was removed with surgery in January 2022, but there are still unclear margins. She is having radiation treatments now. A complication occurred during surgery which caused a cerebral spinal leak that will have to be repaired with yet another surgery in July. Beth's family has all passed away. She needs help. If you know Beth, you know she is a kind and wonderful person. Any assistance is appreciated. This past year has taken a toll on her. She was a licensed massage therapist and has not been able to work for a year. Times are really hard right now for everyone, and we understand that - but we still feel this is a special situation. We are not in town, or we could be of more help. We thought a fundraiser would be a good remedy to hold her over until she can start working again.
