Please help as we help pay the significant amount medical bills and funeral costs. Anything will help. We appreciate your prayers as well. Thank you.
My sweet niece, Bethany, is heaven today with my dad. Her and her sweet Papa are now having the most precious reunion. And she’s healed and she happy
We are heartbroken. But we know her body was just too tired. She made the decision to go, she was ready.
My sister, Marylina, is going to need all the prayers, friends. Please don’t forget her and Ken and my mom. The next few days, weeks and even years are going to be difficult.
if you could help us with expenses to lay her to rest, that would be appreciated. ❤️
Monday, February 3rd, is a day that my sister, Marylina, and her family’s regular routine in life came to a sudden halt. My niece, Bethany, was rushed to the Emergency Room with a terrible headache and slurred speech, and after the doctors found a brain bleed, she was rushed to emergency surgery. Ken, Marylina, Josh, and my mom dropped everything and drove to Lubbock from Mansfield. They had to grant permission for brain surgery and receive updates from the doctors during that 6-hour drive.
Bethany has just turned 25 years old and is a student at Texas Tech University. She is young, determined, fun, and has a future. This is just a little detour to get to where she needs to be. We don’t know the extent of her recovery yet. Right now, we are playing the waiting game. She needs to rest and let her body heal. She has been sedated since Monday. Her family anxiously waits for her to wake up and begin the next phase of her life.
We know the medical bills, from just this week alone, are going to be substantial. And we also know that Bethany’s recovery could take months. Because Bethany is in Lubbock, Ken is unable to keep up with his regular work schedule. Marylina is able to work remotely, which we are thankful for, but the stress of this situation will certainly be taking a toll on their finances. Bethany will likely need physical therapy and continued medical visits until she is completely healed.
Never would I have ever believed we would have to start a GoFundMe page. We are still in disbelief of what’s happened in the last week, but we know God is Faithful. He has given my family strength and peace, and we are so very thankful for your prayers. If you cannot give financially, please continue to speak Jesus for Bethany and her recovery.
