Support Beth Kase's Battle Against Cancer
Donation protected
My best friend Nate Kase and his wife Beth could really use some help! A few months back, Beth was diagnosed with Stage 2 Breast Cancer. She had a mastectomy in early July and from there, the bad news kept coming. She got an infection from the surgery and a couple of days after, learned that the cancer had spread to her lymph nodes. The plan was quickly changed and she was scheduled for months of chemo and radiation treatments.
Beth went in for her first round of treatment two weeks ago, and although immediately after she felt fine, this didn’t last. Two days after treatment, she was feeling very nauseous and was bedridden. This continued through last week and just this past Sunday, things took another turn for the worst. The Chemo has caused pain in Beth’s hips and legs which makes it difficult for her to stand for long periods and she started to have pains along with lightheadedness and labored breathing. Beth was admitted into the hospital with multiple blood clots in her lungs. They ran a bunch of tests and are awaiting results to find the root cause. Her white blood cells haven’t spiked since the treatment, which means her body is either fighting another infection, the clots are causing this, or something completely different?
Through all of this, both Beth and Nate have remained positive, even though the fight has been hard both physically and emotionally. Both have exhausted their vacation days through their employers due to the many hospital stays, doctor’s appointments, and days off due to illness. Their medical bills are quickly adding up and since Nate has exhausted all of his vacation days, any time off is unpaid. Couple this with the kids' school and sports schedules, and they are running on fumes.
Nate and Beth are Christians and have put their faith in the Lord's hands. While I trust that the Lord will heal Beth, I want to help them financially through this tough time. Please help the Kase family with a donation; all money donated will be used to cover medical expenses and general costs of living. Any amount you could give would be greatly appreciated. If you’re not financially able to give, please share this with your family and friends as this would mean the world to them. God bless and thank you all!
